BISCUIT & BUTTERCUP LEND A FIN
I wrote Biscuit and Buttercup Lend A Fin to educate kids about ocean pollution in a youthful and engaging way. This poem-style, picture book teaches them to champion a cause about which they are passionate. My entire Lend A Fin project won the only gold medal Linda Cabot's Bow Seat Ocean Awareness contest awarded in 80 countries for an interactive multimedia project to save the seas.

Want to help save our only home? 16-year-old Angelina Lyon wrote and illustrated Biscuit & Buttercup Lend a Fin to teach kids to help the sea and ourselves through a story about two delightful fish!
This project is part of Emagination Island, a learning adventure that teaches kids to play with purpose so they imagine, create, and give.
PRETEND CITY
In the early stages of selling my children’s book, I had the opportunity to host a book reading at Pretend City Children's Museum in Irvine, CA. I was able to raise $1,000 and all of my proceeds were donated back to the museum.
