HAUTE
Haute Magazine is the University of Southern California’s art, culture, and lifestyle publication, created each semester through a collaborative student effort. Haute has quickly built its reputation on disrupting digital media through sophistication and innovation, amassing a worldwide readership of over 1,000,000 views as of 2025. Haute has been recognized by the Associated Collegiate Press as a 2024 Design of the Year finalist.
As Director of Visual Design for two semesters, I led a 13-person team, overseeing the creative direction and layout of our 400-page issues. I reviewed and refined each spread to ensure visual cohesion, brand consistency, and a polished final product that upheld Haute’s editorial standards and vision while translating each issue’s main theme, including the journey beyond our physical world in “Transcendence,” the creative and rebellious spirit of “Winds of Change,” and the intimate exploration of friendship, vulnerability, and love in “Philia.”
